As a Community Manager, you'll be working with various product teams on a daily basis. Each of them mixes science, fun and meticulous hard work to make our tech seamless and magical. The Proximity Team takes care of our apps and SDKs, launching new features frequently and ensuring that our stack works flawlessly. The Indoor Team handles our Indoor Location SDKs and the related cloud infrastructure. And our Cloud Team maintains the — you guessed it! — Estimote Cloud and handles the traffic coming to our sites and apps. How do you get to work with all of those? By being a part of our Community Team, working on improving the way we communicate with our customers and maintaining our knowledge base.

We get all of this done with full stack teams with end to end competencies, like embedded systems engineers, mobile developers, UX and UI designers, and community managers. Here are some of the people you’ll get to work with:

What will you be doing?

You will take responsibility for supporting our clients as they build their Estimote projects. You'll be guiding them through their first steps with Estimote, helping them tackle any problems and advising them on the best solution for their problems.

Customer Relationship

You will be responsible for building and taking care of our community while utilizing your exceptional interpersonal skills. You will be constantly in touch with our customers and proactively gather feedback while promoting products and features within the community.

Ticket Management

You will be engaged in processing and solving customer tickets using helpdesk software. You’ll be helping our customers solve their technical problems and implement the best solutions for their use cases.

Product Development

You will take part in the product development process by inspiring product managers to create new features and prioritize fixes that you know our customers request and need.

Building Community Culture

As a part of the Community Guild, you will have impact on the way we communicate with our clients throughout the company. You will also have a chance to give regular presentations on the company events and raise awareness of the important issues.

What skillset do we expect?

Must Haves:

  • You have some experience as a copywriter, preferably in a tech startup environment

  • You possess great communication skills and consider them one of your biggest advantages

  • You're great at figuring out what the real problems are

  • You easily connect with others and make them feel comfortable around you

  • You are well-organised, you master at juggling repetitive and creative work

  • You are passionate about tech and you are eager to learn plenty about the latest technologies

  • You are data-driven and can use data and trends to prioritize tasks and requests

  • You act fast and don’t postpone things that need to be taken care of

  • You have impeccable English

  • You never lose your calm and just carry on

  • You’re good at getting to the bottom of seemingly incomprehensible issues and reaching mutual understanding with the customers

  • You have experience in customer/community support or product management.

Nice to Haves:

You have completed one of more courses on software development and/or built a website or an app from scratch

You have experience in using command-line SQL

You know how to create social media content: blog posts, guides, promotional articles, tutorials

You have experience in running events (hackathons, meetups, etc)

You have more than 1 year of experience in customer support / service

You have worked with helpdesk software

You speak any other foreign language except for English - the more, the better!

Estimote is located at the heart of one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Our office is a post-industrial wonder, we are housed inside a vintage chocolate factory next to the Vistula river.

What is our application process?

We take hiring very seriously and take great care to make sure there's a good fit for you and for us.

  2. 2. We will call you and have a chat, and give you feedback on your tasks (we're massive believers in feedback)   
  3. 3. Come and meet some more of the team for an in-person interview in our chocolate factory.
  4. 4. A "test drive" is a day spent working with your potential team - it helps to work out if there is a fit.
